Leaving from the historic town of the Puy en Velay, a splendid two-week itinerary to Conques and the mythical Way of Puy, France’s most popular pilgrimage route. The route winds its way through the volcanic and granite landscapes of the Massif-Central, with its forests, meadows and scattered hamlets. The walker then arrives on the vast, lush green Aubrac plateau. This is followed by the delightful valleys of Lot and Aveyron, culminating in the splendid village of Conques, a Roman wonder.
For long-distance hikers, this tour combines the two previous stages offered on this site – from PUY-EN-VELAY to AUMONT-AUBRAC and from AUMONT-AUBRAC to CONQUES.
