From the vast plateau of Aubrac, a beautiful itinerary takes you, in short stages, to the heart of a region with an extraordinary heritage. The climax is the arrival at Conques, the jewel in the crown of the route.
Between Aubrac and the Lot and Aveyron valleys, the route passes through beautiful villages, rich with churches and castles: Nasbinals, Calmont, Estaing, Espeyrac and finally medieval Conques, whose monastery once housed the relics of Sainte Foy and boasts countless treasures.
Here’s a 9-day version of this lovely itinerary to gently enjoy these magnificent valleys and take the time to immerse yourself in these magical places steeped in history and culture.
